Corduroy. Timeless fabric. Built to last.

Corduroy has roots reaching back to antiquity, but it gained prominence in 18th-century Europe. In France and England, it was called corde du roi -"cord of the king", a nod to its soft feel and early association with nobility. Over time, it evolved from regal attire into a rugged, everyday staple worn by craftsmen, artists, and outdoorsmen alike.

Corduroy is usually woven from cotton, with extra weft threads forming its signature ridges, known as wales. Corduroy’s raised ribs do more than add texture, they trap warmth, resist wear, and offer a comfortable, broken-in feel from day one. Soft, durable, and insulating, it's one of the most dependable fabrics for the colder months.
